Westside Elementary School District Child Development Program provides a high quality preschool experience in a safe, nurturing environment and promotes physical, social, emotional and cognitive development in children. We believe that young children learn through play, and therefore the learning activities in our program are developmentally appropriate. Developmentally appropriate practices in four main development domains. These help children gain confidence, learn to trust and socialize with others, experiment with their environment, and prepare children for Kindergarten.
